CALL FOR PAPERS

AI-assisted Evaluation of UX Aspects in the Development Process

Special session in the

3rd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in HCI (AI-HCI 2022).

Affiliated conference of the

HCI INTERNATIONAL 2022, 24TH International Conference On Human-Computer Interaction

26 June - 1 July 2022

Evaluating UX aspects in early or ongoing software development processes is a challenging issue that has attracted the attention of practitioners and researchers alike. With the emergence and adoption of agile methodologies as a de-facto standard, incorporating evaluation and improvement of UX aspects into the short development iterations can be a demanding effort. As such, it can benefit from the assistance of AI techniques in different parts of the process.

In this session we expect to attract original submissions in the field of software engineering and evaluation of UX / Usability aspects during development, using AI techniques such as Machine Learning to leverage different tasks like interaction log analysis, guidelines adherence or user testing.

Accepted papers will be invited to a special issue on the International Journal Of Interactive Multimedia And Artificial Intelligence.

The topics include, but are not limited to, the following:
